While the release of Grand Theft Auto V on PS4 and Xbox One yesterday was reason to celebrate among Rockstar fans, many players of the recently re-released title found issues with being able to transfer data over to the PS4/Xbox One versions from the last-gen consoles, specifically for those that hadn’t played the game since last year.
Following the issues reported with the game since its launch yesterday, Rockstar Games updated its support page with a new post detailing that the studio has been working to correct these issues, with a patch now available for PS4 to correct the transfer issues between PS3/PS4. In addition, Rockstar has also bolstered the number of servers for the PS4 version of the game to aid users with the patch and make the corrections more accessible to all users.
Rockstar confirmed in its post that an update for the Xbox One version of the title is now also available, allowing both versions of the re-release to transfer characters, data, and more from the last-gen versions of the game into the new releases.
Grand Theft Auto V is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360, with the PC release coming on January 27th, 2015.
