The game's next-gen version has finally been released after a long wait, but unfortunately, there are a few issues players are facing right now.

Rockstar Responds To GTA 5 Profile/Character Transfer Not Working

In a recent tweet on the official Rockstar Support Twitter handle, the developers have issued a statement addressing the issues some of the players are facing. If you are unaware, the new version of GTA 5 will require players to transfer their progress and profile from their previous account. However, many are not able to and are facing some issues while doing the same. If players have migrated their PS4/Xbox One accounts to PC previously, they are not able to process the transfer currently. However, the good news is that Rockstar is working on the issue and they have assured fans that they will be updating once it is resolved.

If you are wondering how you can do the transfer instead, then we have got you covered. Thankfully, Rockstar has made the entire process really simple, and you can complete it with merely a click of a button. Irrespective of the platform you are playing the game on, you have to follow the same process to transfer your progress in the game.

To transfer your progress in GTA 5, all you need to do is boot up the game and then head to the in-game menu. Click on the Game tab, and there you will find an option to upload your game saves. You simply need to click on it and your progress will be synced with the cloud. Now you can head on to your PS5 or Xbox Series X and your progress will automatically be transferred.
