Rogue Company First Gameplay Trailer Revealed
The first gameplay trailer from Rogue Company showcases a bunch of rogues, a beautifully crafted map, and one of the available modes.
First Watch Games, a subsidiary of Hi-Rez Studios, finally revealed the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming multiplayer shooter Rogue Company in a new fun trailer. Although the exact release date is yet to be announced, you can sign-up for the Alpha version of the game as of now. Check out the trailer down below:
First revealed during a Nintendo Direct back in 2019, Rogue Company is an objective-based PvP third-person shooter, featuring different rogues as playable characters with various abilities. While both teams dive into the map from different sides, there’s only one mission to be done, and the first team to complete the objective is the winner of the game. However, if you manage to kill all of the enemy members, there’s no need to go after the objective.
Thus far, two multiplayer modes have been announced for Rogue Company. The first one is a 4v4 Extraction mode in which you hack a device in a certain location of the map while the second mode is a 2v2 fight called Wingman. With at least 8 rogues available at launch, more playable characters and modes will be added to the game as post-launch content.
Based on what I saw in the gameplay trailer, Rogue Company somehow reminds me of a third-person, fast-paced version of Rainbow Six Siege, especially with that HUD design. Having said that, the special abilities for each character seem interesting enough to convince me to sign up for the Alpha version, which doesn’t have an exact release date yet. Also, it’s worth noting that the game will feature cross-platform at launch.
Rogue Company will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Epic Games Store on an unannounced date this year. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 4 and is the very first game coming from First Watch Games, a new group from Hi-Rez Studios.
