As one of the critical indie darlings from last year, Cellar Door Games’ much-loved roguelike Rogue Legacy will be arriving to PlayStation consoles later this month for those that need a quick fix of some adventurous gameplay.

Announced over on the PlayStation Blog by Cellar Door Games’ designer, Teddy Lee, the upcoming new version of Rogue Legacy will be heading to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita courtesy of Abstraction Games, and will contain all the content from the original PC/Mac/Linx release, alongside cross-buy and cross-save features for PS console users.

In addition, Lee also noted that the PS Vita version will play “perfectly,” as the studio actually had the PS Vita in mind while originally designing the game with Lee mentioning:

“When we originally made Rogue Legacy, we made it with the PS Vita buttons in mind. No joke. We gambled that if it did well, we wouldn’t want the Vita version being nerfed in the control department, so we made sure to not use too many buttons. That crazy gamble we made over a year ago paid off, and that means the Vita version plays perfectly! Happiness!”

Rogue Legacy releases for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on July 29th, 2014.
