Curve Games has confirmed that Patch Quest, which is currently in early access, will have a full release on Steam in October 2022. The game will be priced at $20 USD, and will include full English support.

Patch Quest is a game where Rouge Like and Metroidvania elements clash together to create a unique environment where players can mount and ride any monster they meet. Instead of the players investing in themselves, they will have to bend the monsters they meet to their will, and make use of their variety of skills to make end meets. The game also supports both single-player and two-player local co-op.

The story of Patch Quest happens in Patchlantis, a place that was once home to a lost civilization. Now fierce monsters roam the world, completely changing the terrain over time, giving birth to rugged terrains and booby-trapped ruins. A storm that happens at night will also change the terrain completely every day. Players can set up a camp anywhere, and explore any location they prefer at any time. There are many dungeons and shortcuts to discover, and of course, many unique monsters to mount.

The monsters in Patch Quest can take any shape and form, each with their own unique abilities. Monsters can fly, dig tunnels underground, spit hot fire, move faster than lighting, and much more. Every single run can help you level up and get a bit stronger, in addition to increasing your affinity with each monster to gain many new skills. Players will also have a catalog to identify and collect various species that each monster loves. There are over 100 unique planets to discover.

Immediately after the release, a large-scale update is planned to add further content, and a console version is planned for release sometime in 2023. The developer are also posting daily updates via the official Patch Quest Discord, with the feedback from the community often encouraged.

Patch Quest is available to purchase on Steam via early access right now, with a full release coming on October 13th, 2022.
