Square Enix published on August 29 a recorded video dedicated to the SaGa franchise and most notably to Romancing SaGa Re:univerSe. During the recorded before-hand stream, Square Enix finally announced the release date of the Romancing SaGa 3's remaster in Japan.  Romancing Saga 3 Remaster will be launching in Japan on November 11,  on PS4, Vita, Switch, Xbox One, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android.

You can find the Romancing SaGa 3 Remaster Japanese release date reveal trailer embedded below.

It's highly likely the western release of Romancing SaGa 3 Remaster will follow very soon after the Japanese release. Even before Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa Scarlet Grace's official western release announcement at E3 2019, SaGa seriess Director Akitoshi Kawazu and Square Enix had mentioned multiple times in the past the game will be launching in the west.

Romancing SaGa 3 Remaster was supposed to launch in early 2019. The game's development was actually pretty much complete for a while now, but Director Kawazu mentioned in a previous stream they were polishing the game to make it the best experience possible. This makes it even more likely than the western release will be coming very soon.

In any case, we'll let you know as soon as we can when Square Enix makes a new announcement regarding Romancing SaGa 3 Remaster's western release.

Square Enix is also holding a SaGa series stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2019, held from September 12 to 15. A new game might get revealed there.
