The SaGa team revealed that Romancing SaGa 3 Remastered will not be exclusive to Japan and will come west after the overseas release. However, there was no mention if both the Vita and Smartphone versions of the game will be coming west or if it will be limited to one piece of hardware in the localized version.

The team stresses that the previous entry, Romancing SaGa 2, is still in development for PlayStation Vita and, after suffering many delays, requires a bit more patience from western fans.

This news follows the announcement that Romancing SaGa 3 will be making its way onto PlayStation Vita and Smartphones in a remastered form. This version will have redesigned characters, backgrounds, and system menus. Additionally, controls will be optimized for use on Vita and Smartphone devices.

Originally released in 1995, Romancing SaGa 3 is a JRPG that has the player choose from 8 main protagonists to play as. Each of these characters have their own story and playstyle which provides plenty of replayability. As of right now, there is no release date for the remastered version.
