The RTX 3060 Ti at release will be bundled with a one year of GeForce NOW, the Nvidia cloud gaming service available on PC, Mac, and mobile.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will be the latest addition to the company’s catalog of graphics processing units (GPU), with its release date set for December 2 for $399. According to Newegg, the RTX 3060 Ti will release at 0900 ET (Click here for a time zone conversion table).

An announcement via Nvidia’s website states that the unit is faster than the RTX 2080 SUPER and beats the RTX 2060 SUPER by an average of 40%.

Nvidia claims the RTX 3060 Ti will deliver a best-in-class performance thanks to the implementation of Nvidia Ampere Architecture, which features 2nd Generation Ray Tracing Cores, 3rd Generation Tensor Cores for AI and other tech including Nvidia Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), Nvidia Reflex and Nvidia Broadcast.

In the same announcement, CD Projekt Red, Activision and Ubisoft were revealed to be among other developers working directly with Nvidia to deliver new Ray Tracing effects for games such as the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, and the recently released Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.

It was also revealed that Nvidia DLSS has been implemented into over 25 games including Marvel’s Avengers, Watch Dogs: Legion, War Thunder and more. The company is also expecting to adopt its system latency reducing Nvidia  Reflex technology into nearly a dozen games by the end of the year.

The RTX 3060 Ti will also come bundled with a one-year Founders membership to GeForce NOW, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service that allows gamers to play from a Windows PC, Mac, Nvidia Shield, Chromebook, Android or Safari Web Browser on an iPhone or iPad.

The RTX 3060 Ti was revealed after a series of shop listings pointing at its existence these past months. Gamers looking to purchase a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti can do so directly from the Nvidia Store, Best Buy, Newegg, Amazon or B&H. It’s also worth noting many potential buyers are angry with Nvidia after how the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 launch was handled.
