Eko Software, Bigben Interactive, and Maximum Games released a new trailer Rugby 18 today that highlights the game's Career and My Squad modes.

Career mode operates like the typical franchise mode usually present in sports games, allowing a player to play in a season as their favorite team. In this mode, players also have the opportunity to recruit players money garnered from wins; a team's formation and strategy can also be modified between matches, so players can constantly modify their team and get them to the top of the Elite Division.

My Squad mode lets players create their own original dream team. Players can pick the best official players from all the major leagues by spending Squad Points, which players get by completing a match in all of the game's modes, offline and online. Players can also gain these points by completing special objectives during matches.

For those who don't know, Rugby 18 is an authentic rugby union game, and features many Northern Hemisphere rugby clubs and players, including England’s Premiership Rugby clubs and France’s TOP 14 teams. Players have a variety of tactical choices during matches, and there are also varied game phases, which give players the ability to learn and refine technical skills in the game. Overall, more than 2,000 professional rugby players from the 2017-2018 season will be present in Rugby 18.

You can check out the new trailer showing these modes in action below. Rugby 18 will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this October.
