During a recent interview with DualShockers, Polish developer Reikon Games revealed that it has considered bringing RUINER to the Nintendo Switch, in addition to the already confirmed platforms of PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.

More specifically, when asked if there has been any consideration in bringing the cyberpunk intense top-down shooter to Nintendo's new platform, Reikon Games admitted that there has been, but accompanied the admission with "very abstractly."

What this essentially means is that while the thought or idea of bringing its debut game to Switch has been pondered, there is no physical or concrete existence of a Switch port as of right now.

For those that don't know: RUINER is a self-described "brutal" action shooter that is set in the future of 2091, in the cyber metropolis of Rengkok. In it, you play as a wired sociopath who lashes out against a wildly corrupt system in order to uncover the truth and rescue his kidnapped brother, all while under the guidance of a secretive hacker friend.

According to the Warsaw-located studio -- which was founded in 2014 by industry veterans who have previously worked on titles such as The Witcher, Dying Light, Shadow Warrior, and This War of Mine --  RUINER features lightening fast combat, and requires a delicate balance of overwhelming, brute force and elegant strikes to overcome a range of savage opponents.

To help you lay a scene of chaos, violence, and death on the battlefield you will be equipped with a variety of high-tech firearms and melee weapons, as well as gadgets like energy shields, hacking tools, and dashing augmentations.

RUINER is scheduled to release later this month on the 26th. For more on the game, be sure to check out its latest trailer and official website.
