Rumor: Far Cry 4 Might Not Run at 1080p on Xbox One

There hasn’t been much information on the native resolution of Far Cry 4 on Xbox One, but Gobalisateur, one of the expert pixel counters over at the Beyond 3D forums analyzed Xbox One footage to discover the pixel density of the game.

According to his analysis, it runs at approximately 1400 x 1080, missing the full 1080p mark.

Of course this should be taken with a grain of salt until fully verified, but the folks at Beyond 3D rarely get pixel counting wrong. We’ll update this article as soon as we’ll find out any more relevant information.

That said, the game still look really impressive on all current generation platforms, that’s doubtless.
