Rumor: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Bringing Hyper Combos to the Vita

By Kenneth Richardson

August 8, 2011

According to an online retailer, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is headed for the PlayStation Vita. Amazon France lists the game for Sony’s unreleased handheld, though it lacks pricing and release details. This rumor is very likely true, considering that Street Fighter X Tekken is already confirmed for the console.

Furthermore, MVC3 was allegedly dismissed as an option for the less powerful Nintendo 3DS because of the screen size and hardware limitations, even though a decent port of Capcom’s own Super Street Fighter IV was possible. A solid, portable MVC3 experience would pretty much sell the PlayStation Vita for me, so this needs to happen.
