Rumor: PS4 YouTube App to Come Soon After Gamescom, European PS Now to be Announced There as Well

Many have been wondering on when the newly announced YouTube app for PS4 will be released, and on when European gamers will get some news about the launch of PlayStation Now in the Old Continent. Today industry insider Tidux, who is normally well informed about what happens at Sony, provided a some interesting information.

PSNow coming to EU this year, Sony will announce the date during Gamescom.

During a closed testing it works better in Europe than in the U.S. There is a better infrastructure here.

YouTube app will also be presented during the Gamescom, released soon thereafter #PS4

Tidux also confirmed that the YouTube app will include the ability to directly upload gameplay to the popular video portal.

Of course, like everything coming from insiders, this should be taken with a heavy bag of grain of salt despite Tidux’s positive track record, and should be considered a rumor until an official announcement is made by Sony Computer Entertainment itself, but Gamescom definitely seems like the perfect venue to make this kind of announcement.

The wait won’t be long, as the event will start on August 13th (earlier than last year). If the previous years are any indication, Sony should hold its press conference on the 12th.
