Rumor: PSP2 Real, MK Dev Has One

According to an interview by IndustryGamers with the Netherrealm Studios Executive Producer Shaun Himmerick, who is working on the Mortal Kombat reboot, has said that his team has gotten their hands on a PSP2 system.

“We’re not launching day one on all consoles like that. We are looking at them; we have a PSP2 in the house and we’re looking at the engine, like what can it support.”

Shaun went on to say that they do not have access to a 3DS in their development house yet, which is a little weird. They have an unannounced system, but not an announced system that’s sure to destroy sales records when released? Then again, who knows what Sony has up their sleeves.

An avid gamer since birth, I consider myself a new-age gamer. My first system was the N64, but the first system I really cared about was my Xbox Original. I'm a computer science major in college, and spend all my money on games, and stuff I don't need. I've never played Zelda or many Mario games in my youth. I'm also a huge sports fan, and a chick flick lover. My favorite games include Gears of War, Halo, Fallout, GTA, Mass Effect, and Metal Gear Solid.
