Jason Schreier believes that Starfield won't be out in 2021 as he mentions in his recent Ask Me Anything session on Reddit.

Along with announcing Fallout 76 at E3 2018, Bethesda teased two exciting projects for the future, one of which was Starfield. Since then, nothing new has been shared about the game up to this point. It's three years with no official trailer, which is even longer than FromSoftware's silence on Elden Ring.

Even Bethesda's acquisition by Microsoft didn't bring in new details about Starfield. Now, everyone is waiting for this year's E3 press conference of Microsoft, which could finally provide our first detailed look at Starfield.

Starfield 2021 Release Date Rumor Denied by Schreier

That being said, even if we receive a new trailer from the developers next month, the release date apparently has not been set for this year. While previously there were some rumors around Microsoft's efforts to launch Starfield this year, recently Jason Schreier mentioned that the game won't be out in 2021.

In an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, when a fan asked Schreier whether Starfield could be launched in 2021 or not, Schreier denied the rumor and found it unlikely to happen.

Unfortunately, there are not many details around the game for the time being except for rumors and leaks. Some in-game screenshots have already leaked from Starfield, showcasing a futuristic, space-exploring setting.

The game will probably bring in a futuristic and maybe realistic RPG experience beyond earth, but the details remain unknown for now.

Even the target platforms of Starfield are yet to be announced, but we know for sure that it will hit Xbox Game Pass at launch on both Xbox consoles and PC.
