The next Rune Factory Channel stream scheduled on July 25 will reveal new information on Rune Factory 5.

July 22, 2019

Marvelous announced the 4th Rune Fachannel stream will be held on July 25, at 20:00 JST. Here’s the YouTube link, Niconico, and Periscope. The stream will include the same people as usual ( Producer Maekawa, streamers HiraUnderbar, and Milkiene) along with Hitomi Nabatame, the seiyuu of Rune Factory 4 Special bachelorette Clorica. A “secret” guest will also be present, who seems to be Porcoline’s seiyuu Takahiro Fujimoto. Besides promoting Rune Factory 4 Special, which will release on July 25 in Japan, the stream will also reveal new information on Rune Factory 5.

We already knew this stream would include new information regarding Rune Factory 5, as Producer Maekawa already announced it the previous stream, but the stream itself wasn’t dated until now. We’ve seen nothing but a logo for Rune Factory 5 so far, so we might get to see a short teaser trailer at least.

The Rune Factory Twitter also published a short video with Underbar, Hira, and Milkiene hyping up the stream, something they haven’t done for the other streams so far, meaning something significant might be revealed.

You can read more on Rune Factory 4 Special with our summaries of the previous streams. We’ll provide a summary of this week’s stream as well. Just like last time though, this might come a few hours after the stream ends, as Sega is again doing a Sakura Taisen stream at the same time, where the battle system for Project Sakura Wars will be revealed.

Rune Factory 4 Special launches in late 2019 in the west. Rune Factory 5 will launch on Switch sometime after March 2020 in Japan. The game was announced in the west with no release estimate.
