Following a release in Japan early last year, Rune Factory 5 will finally come to North American fans later this week.
Rune Factory fans have been left waiting quite some time for a new entry in the RPG series, with the last title, Rune Factory 4, now coming up to its 10th anniversary.
Alongside the long wait between entries, Rune Factory 5 was also due to launch back in 2020, but was unfortunately delayed.
But nevertheless, the release of Rune Factory 5 is now only a matter of hours away. Here's the official release date, time, and price.

Rune Factory 5 Release Date and Time
The official release date for Rune Factory 5 on the Nintendo Switch is Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022. However, this is the release date for those in the US, EU players will have to wait until Friday, March 25th, 2022 for the release of Rune Factory 5.
According to the official Nintendo Support page, new titles are often released at 12AM ET on the day of release. This means fans can expect Rune Factory 5 to have the following release time in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand:
- 9PM PT
- 12AM ET
- 4AM GMT
- 4PM AEDT
- 6PM NZDT
However, Nintendo also states that some third party titles may not be available until 12PM PT on the day of release. Should a more official release time for Rune Factory 5 be announced, we will update this article with the full details.

The price of Rune Factory 5 is £49.99 GBP or $59.99 USD. However, there is currently a special offer available on the Nintendo website where fans can get 10% off the price of Rune Factory 5 until March 24th, 2022.
Should you pick up Rune Factory 5 during this deal, the price will be £44.99 GBP or $54.99 USD.
