Rymdkapsel Builds Space Stations Out of Tetris Pieces

Rymdkapsel, the newest game arriving to Playstation Mobile (and in turn the PS Vita and PSP), is a new “meditative strategy” game that tasks players with building the best space station they can while commanding their minions and exploring the galaxy.

Emphasis is being put on the relaxing nature of the game, which has been designed by indie gamemaker Martin Jonasson, with music provided by Niklas Ström. So while it is a strategy game, more focus is put on building the best base possible, managing resources, and planning expansion than selecting units to mount attacks on enemies. Finding a balance between defense and expansion will be a major aspect of the game.

Rymdkapsel will be available for PS Mobile devices tomorrow, May 8th, and will be available for iOS and Android devices July, 2013, with the price set for $3.49. Check out the trailer and screenshots below for a better look at the game, which seems to use Tetris pieces for space station components.
