Ryu and Roy Purportedly Leaked for Super Smash Bros for Wii U Ahead of Nintendo Direct

Early this morning two videos leaked onto YouTube, showing both Roy of Fire Emblem and Ryu from Street Fighter going at it in Super Smash Bros for Wii U. This is ahead of the Smash-centric Nintendo Direct that will be live tomorrow morning at 7:40AM PDT; 10:40AM EST. The videos are quite short, showing a few moves and then a freeze frame zoom in as Roy uppercuts with his sword and Ryu unleashes a Hadouken. There is also a screenshot floating around the internet rumored to be Ryu’s stage, which you can find below the videos.

In April, Reddit user shinyquagsire23 claimed to have found sound files within Super Smash Bros data that contained both Ryu and Roy clips. It appears those claims are now true. While we wait for the official word that will undoubtedly come tomorrow morning, you can view the two videos below from Memescreen (Roy) and TripleXero (Ryu).
