Based on a 1989 cartoon that followed in the footsteps of Voltron, Power Rangers, and countless other animated tv shows, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs may get a video game adaptation if their Kickstarter is a success. Currently sitting at $15,767 pledged of their $75,000 goal, Team Saber Rider has added a new stretch goal to encourage donations, a Sega Dreamcast physical release.

Those who so desire can donate directly towards the Dreamcast version in three different tiers.

Dream Special Level 1 - Game only with Manual and Spine Card $49 - USD

Dream Special Level 2 - includes also the Games Soundtrack on a second CD - $99 USD

Dream Special Level 3 - includes also the the Saber Rider Art Book - $139 USD

Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs itself is a 2D 16-Bit style run'n'gun shoot-'em-up including giant Mecha action. If successful, the game will come to Steam on Windows, Mac, Linux, Nintendo 3DS, and Dreamcast.
