PlayStation's Sackboy: A Big Adventure could soon be coming to PC via Steam, after the platforms database uploaded a picture of Sackboy to a project currently known as 'Steel PC'.

As spotted by VGC, there were previously rumors of Sackboy: A Big Adventure joining PC late last year after references to the game were found as part of the huge Nvidia GeForce leak. Alongside an image of Sackboy being attached to the codename 'Steel PC', language support and store tags have also been updated, suggesting the release is close to being finalised.

Should Sackboy: A Big Adventure make its way to PC, it would join the long list of PlayStation titles to join Steam. Sony have previously stated that they are aiming to bring more and more of their console exclusives titles to PC users, with games such as Days Gone, Spider-Man Remastered, God of War, and more already available on Steam.

In an interview with GQ back in 2021, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan said that bringing PlayStation titles ot PC is "a fairly straightforward decision for us to make". Ryan puts this down to the fact that the ease of making games available to non-console owners has grown. He went on to state that they will continue to take missions steps in the same direction, when discussing the success of Horizon Zero Dawn's PC launch.

The official PlayStation website currently lists Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and The Last of Us: Part I to be coming to PC either in 2022 or in the future. Although the addition of Sackboy: A Big Adventure is looking likely, it has yet to be confirmed by PlayStation, so take the information with a pinch of salt for the time being.

But, if you'd like to take a look at the Steam Database yourself, all you need to do is visit SteamDB to see all of the changes to the 'Steel PC' project, as well as the recently uploaded image of Sackboy.
