Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and Re-Elected Edition Get New Launch Date and Gameplay Trailer

The standalone expansion Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and the HD remastered Saints Row IV: Re-Elected Edition have had their releases dates bumped ahead a week from their previously reported date.

You can now expect to play as Gat and Kinzie while going through the fires of Hell on January 20th instead of January 27th. No real world has come from developer Volition on the cause of the move forward a week, but I wouldn’t be to surprised if sharing the January 27th release date of Grand Theft Auto V on PC had a small part to do with it.

Regardless, it’s always great to see a game get pushed forward rather than the dreaded delay that many games like Evolve, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman: Arkham Knight have already seen this year. To mark the occasion, we’ve received an new gameplay video featuring more of the ‘Seven Deadly Sin’ weapons, including the cake batter coating Gluttony gun that I absolutely can’t wait to use.

Checkout the full video below to see Gat headbutt Satan and remember to enjoy Gat Out of Hell on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC and Saints Row IV: Re-Elected Edition on PS4 and Xbox One when they both release on January 20th, 2015.

A self-proclaimed recovered Dota 2 addict, you can find him enjoying the best games that the PC has to offer. Outside of writing about video games, Andrew enjoys binging Netflix, reading a good book and throwing money at anything and everything Star Wars related. He probably finds your lack of faith disturbing.
