While the most notable thing to come out of SNK at EVO 2019 was that The King of Fighters XV is on its way, SNK also had a lot to say about Samurai Shodown. They confirmed that Haohmaru is an upcoming crossover fighter for SoulCalibur VI and also put a spotlight on Samurai Shodown's DLC once more.

The trailer reaffirms the characters included in the Season Pass and confirms their release windows. Samurai Shodown III's Rimururu will be added sometime this month, Basara is coming in October, Samurai Shodown VI's Kazuki Kazama arrive in November, and Wan-Fu wraps things up in December. We see a bit of gameplay from each of them, which should please those who got these characters for free by buying Samurai Shodown the first week it was out.

We also got confirmation of two new characters. Shizumaru Hisame, another Samurai Shodown III alumnus, is being added to the game for free in September, and Samurai Shodown V's Mina Majikina was teased as the first character to be a part of the 2020's Season Pass 2.

You can check out a trailer revealing all of this below. Samurai Shodown is available for PS4 and Xbox One now, with Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch and PC ports also in the works.
