It has been a very, very long time coming for the PC release of Samurai Shodown, but as of today, the finalized release date for the game has finally been unveiled.

Planned to arrive in a little over two weeks, SNK Corporation today revealed that Samurai Shodown will finally come to PC on June 11. As it was announced previously, the fighting game will be available for purchase exclusively through the Epic Games Store, much to the chagrin of many, I'm sure. The game will retail for $49.99 but you can currently get it for 10% off of its normal value if you opt to pre-order Samurai Shodown before it launches. Additionally, the game's two DLC bundles will be marked down by 10% as well.

The PC iteration of Samurai Shodown finally comes about only a few months after the game came to Switch. As for us here at DualShockers, we found the Switch port of Samurai Shodown to be quite solid. In fact, in our own estimation, all versions of the game that have come about so far have been pretty great. While PC versions of games can sometimes be hit and miss, it stands to reason that this new iteration of Samurai Shodown should be just as good as the others. We'll see if that ends up coming true soon.
