Koei Tecmo has announced that Samurai Warrior 4 will feature a Chronicle mode, which allows players to follow events by reading the journals of commanding officers, crossing new warriors and unlocking gear.

In addition, there will be three brand new spanking warriors joining the game:

  • Kojuro Katakura – strategy-savvy talented warrior
  • Naotora – a fierce Li clan leader
  • Koshosho – a fighter who can bewitch men with her beauty

These characters will join previous characters Hanzo, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, Ina, Masamune, Motochika, Nene, Tadakatsu and Yoshimoto.

Samurai Warrior 4’s fifty-five-character roster also features an updated Create Character mode that allows players to specifically manage everything from the warrior’s hair length to their armor.

Samurai Warrior 4 will release for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 21st.
