Today Tecmo Koei announced the differences between the PS4 and PS3 versions of Samurai Warriors 4, that will be released in the west this Fall.

The game will feature a much larger number of enemies on screen, while the quality of the visuals has been "greatly improved" taking advantage of the processing power of the PS4. Character's costumes will be more detailed and the skin textures will be improved as well.

Effects have been completely revamped and things like lighting, foliage and depth of field have been fully redone to match the new platform.

The PS4 version also includes interactive streaming, and viewers will be able to influence gameplay with specific comments that will trigger special effects in the game.

Cross-save will be included between PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, so it'll be possible to switch at your leisure between platforms even if (at least for what Japan is concerned, there are no info about the west yet) there will be no cross-buy.

Below you can see three pairs of screenshots of the PS3 version (above) and PS4 version (below) compared, and six costumes that will be offered as first print bonus in Japan.
