The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Samurai Warriors 4: Empires is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. The game will be releasing in Japan on September 3 and will be available for for 6,800 yen.

Samurai Warriors 4: Empires will feature enhanced simulation elements, including a new “Resident Internal Affairs” feature, which is a command-based room corresponding to development and military affairs. Using this feature, you will be able to appoint duties by configuring your warlords’ placements. Depending on the compatibility of your warlords, it will result in different effects on internal affairs.

While the game won't be featuring any new playable warlords, unfortunately, it will offer over 100 female warlords, including Nobunaga’s Ambition‘s Chacha and Matsu.
