February 28th, 2017 will mark the 20th anniversary of Omega Force. Its first game, Dynasty Warriors (Sangoku Musou), was in fact released on February 28th, 1997.

To celebrate, Koei Tecmo, that owns the studio, released a teaser trailer showcasing the history of the developer, that has franchises like Samurai Warriors and Warriors Orochi, up to the recent Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, extending to work done for external publishers like Dragon Quest Heroes and One Piece: Pirate Warriors.

Interestingly, the description of the trailers includes a tease:

"As we are planning new titles and anniversary projects suitable for the 20th anniversary year, please looking forward to it!"

This appears to tease further announcements in addition of the two the developer is already working on, Musou Stars (which will release in Japan on March 2nd), and the newly announced Dynasty Warriors 9. It certainly wouldn't be a stretch, considering that the studio includes multiple development teams that often developed its franchises in parallel.

Of course, we'll let you know here on DualShockers if anything gets announced, but for now you can enjoy reminiscing on the history of Omega Force in the trailer below.
