The official Cyberpunk 2077 account tweeted a 40-second video promoting a music contest for its upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC, and Sasha Grey quote tweeted it, revealing that she is the radio DJ in the video and thus will be part of Phantom Liberty's cast. This expansion was previously revealed last month; it was confirmed to be the only DLC expansion Cyberpunk 2077 would receive, and it will only be available for current-gen consoles, meaning no PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions will be released.RELATED: Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel To Be Developed By New US-Based TeamKeanu Reeves has also been confirmed to be reprising his role of Johnny Silverhand, and it's clear that CD Projekt Red, the development studio, wasn't done adding recognized names to the cast. Sasha Grey, though still widely known for her time as an adult film actress, has significantly shifted the direction of her online presence over the past decade.

She's now a content creator who streams consistently on Twitch, and she's also been cast in several live-action and voice acting roles throughout the years. Some may be surprised to learn that this isn't her first video game gig, as she previously played Viola DeWynter in Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. On top of that, she's done numerous live-action acting gigs, such as playing the girlfriend in an Eminem music video, starring in a found-footage film with Elijah Wood, and playing herself in the HBO show Entourage.

Her character in Cyberpunk 2077 is known as Ash, the host of a newly-set-up radio station called 89.7 GrowlFM, and you can get a taste of her performance in the video above. The aforementioned contest will let music-oriented fans submit their own tracks, 12 to 15 of which will be chosen to get played in 89.7 GrowlFM and thus be part of the actual game.

Submissions close by November 30 of this year, so if you're interested, you have to get started soon. Besides just getting your song in the game, winners will get $3,000 USD, and Cyberpunk 2077 "Goodie Bags." More details about the contest can be found here.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in 2023.
