Say Goodbye to Assassin's Creed Numbered Titles

It seems that Ubisoft is saying goodbye to the numbers when it comes to the Assassin’s Creed franchise and hello to titles being named after their theme.

According to Assassin’s Creed: Unity developer Arnaud Jamin, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the last numbered entry in the series, with Assassin’s Creed: Unity ushering in a new era.

This change was also made in hopes of being more inviting to future gamers who have never played the series before who would be apprehensive of playing a title with so many game’s in the series.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will release on November 11th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
