Bandai Namco is holding a special live stream this June 25 where it’ll hold a world premiere for Episode 1 and 2 of the Scarlet Nexus anime.

The stream will also serve as a celebration stream for the JRPG’s release. Japanese games always get streams like that, and it’ll definitely be interesting to watch. Assuming you speak Japanese.

Scarlet Nexus anime episode 1 and 2 stream

The stream will feature both staff members and seiyuu from the cast, with:

  • Junya Enoki (protagonist Yuito Sumeragi)
  • Chinatsu Akasaki (party member Luka Travers)
  • Game producer Keita Iizuka
  • Game director Kenji Anabuki
  • Anime producer Kiyoshi Tsukamoto

The Scarlet Nexus launch date stream and anime special is happening June 25 at 7 AM EST. Click here for a table with other time zones. It’s in two hours as I’m writing this.

The stream will be happening on YouTube. Keep in mind it’s unlikely the two anime episodes will have subs.

Scarlet Nexus anime release date, simulcast

Scarlet Nexus will start airing in Japan on July 1. The series will be simulcasted by Funimation in North America, who actually already has its own premiere for episode 1 online on YouTube. It’s region-locked to North America though.

Scarlet Nexus is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. A demo is available if you wanna try out the game. Personally speaking, I think Bandai Namco did a pretty good job with this new IP. Hopefully we’ll get an even more ambitious sequel.

Bandai Namco is also working on Tales of Arise, which is releasing later this year on September 10, for the exact same platforms. Plus, developers of the Tales of series also worked on Scarlet Nexus, so the game is definitely worth a try if you like the series.
