Bandai Namco held a live stream for Scarlet Nexus at TGS 2020, revealing multiple new trailers and gameplay sequences. In particular, we learned Scarlet Nexus actually has two protagonists. The first one is Yuito Sumeragi, which we've seen until now. The other one is Kasane Randall, a character who was previously introduced. Turned out she's also a protagonist. When starting Scarlet Nexus, players will get to choose between Yuito and Kasane, and they each have their own distinct storyline.

The game's cover artwork was published as well. It's the illustration featured at the top of this story. The staff mentioned the illustration is "almost" done and will be brushed up a bit. You can see the two protagonists on the front row, Kasane and Yuito. New characters who weren't introduced yet can be seen as well.

Next, Bandai Namco revealed the scenarist of Scarlet Nexus is Takumi Miyajima, who worked on Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss. Meanwhile, we already knew the game is directed by Kenji Anabuki. He worked on Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia, Xillia, and Xillia 2.

On stream, the staff said they still can't announce a release date yet, but that the game's development is going well.

The two new trailers can be found below alongside the gameplay sequences. The first trailer features the Scarlet Nexus theme song by The Oral Cigarettes. The second trailer focuses on Yuito Sumeragi.
