Schein Jumps Under the Spotlight with Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign

Do you like puzzle platformers with a twist? The Austrian indie development studio Zeppelin may have something to pique your interest. Today they started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for their upcoming PC game Schein.

The game is based on a very unique concept: the main character can illuminate the area around him thanks to a wisp named Irrlicht, discovering platforms, triggers and obstacles that would otherwise be hidden. This prompts the player to turn Irrlicht on and off depending on the situation, often requiring precise timing and coordination with jumps to get past complex sequences of hidden platforms and walls.

The crowdfunding campaign has a goal of 20,000€ and will continue until June the 6th. The money will go towards buying proper licenses for the software used to make the game (that was born as a student project using academic licenses), hiring a second artist to enrich the world and publishing and marketing expenses.

You can actually play a development demo that includes a definitely intriguing and quite challenging prototype level (try it out, it’s really fun) and see a gameplay video and a few screenshots below, together with the video introduction of the project. If you like what you see you can support the game with your pledge on Indiegogo and vote for it on Steam Greenlight.
