Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Multiplayer DLC Delayed Until the Fall

Those of you who have waited patiently for the newest downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will have to do one thing: wait longer. The DLC missed its intended release date of August 19th, 2012 two days ago. In a statement made to Joystiq, the developers over at Ubisoft acknowledged the lack of DLC on the promised release date, and affirmed that the DLC was delayed until the fall, later this year. No reason was given for the delay and no exact release date was given within the Fall window.

The new DLC will grant online multiplayer and the additional character of Wallace Wells. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was developed by Ubisoft and released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace in August of 2010. The game had more of a resemblance to the graphic novel counterpart than the film, starring Michael Cera, which was released prior.
