Screenshots of Cube Life: Island Survival's Creative Mode Lets You Build Til Your Heart's

January 25, 2015

Say hello to Cube Life: Island Survival, a Minecraft-like game for the Wii U where you’re living the good life on the deserted island until one day your food, water and shelter is gone.

Armed with your survival skills it is up to you to make it through the days as you face cannibals and wild animals.

Described as the “first block building open-world survival game for the Wii U,” you’ll need to explore, build, and craft to stay alive.

You can further expand your survival skills by exploring caves, wildlife and mountains where you’ll encounter occupied islands where you can choose to befriend the locals, or if you prefer, steal their items, animals, and fight them.

In honor of the game’s announcement, Cypronia has released several screenshots showcasing the game’s Creative Mode.

In Creative Mode, you can design and create constructions in a 3D generated game world like you might find in a game editor. There will also be a feature which will allow you to post your creations and share them with friends online.

Cube Life: Island Survival will release exclusively for the Wii U via the Nintendo eShop in the second quarter of 2015.
