Scribblenauts: Showdown released this morning on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. Five years since an official Scribblenauts release, players won't have to wait any longer to play this party title with over 25 mini-games for up to three other people. And in case you want to see what that looks like, a brand new teaser from developer Shiver Entertainment shows it off.

Much like in the past Scribblenauts titles, players can use their creativity to unleash items in-game with the game's built-in 35,000+ word dictionary. The differing factor in Showdown from past titles are the mini-games. With over 25 of these mini-games and a massive vocabulary to conjure various items, fun times are sure to be had.

Sandbox mode allows for near-endless creativity with the built-in dictionary. Play through it solo or add three more friends in Showdown Mode, creating your way to victory. You can also show off your looks by creating your own character with hundreds of interchangeable pieces, and vehicles included.

The Scribblenauts: Showdown announcement trailer suggested a more 1-vs.-1 type of game, with paper-rock-scissors elements. In the new launch trailer, we can see it has more battle royale elements to it. Back-stab your way to victory pulling items from a vast vocabulary, summon dinosaurs to do your bidding, and bring ultimate glory with the power of your imagination.

As mentioned above, Scribblenauts: Showdown is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out the Scribblenauts Showdown gallery and trailer below:
