In the ramp up towards the launch of Sea of Thieves, Microsoft has announced that the most powerful console ever made will come with a digital code as some bonus plunder.

The deal is being offered beginning on March 18 and will continue until March 24. The Xbox One X will still run you $500.

Microsft notes that the start and end dates for the promotion will vary by market, so it's important to call ahead if you're planning on taking advantage of this deal.

If you didn't want to spend that much money, Microsoft is also offering an Xbox One S bundle for $300, which comes with an exclusive Sea of Thieves branded controller, charging stand, a 1 TB hard drive, a one-month trial of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass, and of course, Sea of Thieves itself.

Sea of Thieves will release on the Xbox One and Windows 10 via Xbox Play Anywhere on March 20.
