Rare is celebrating the 20th anniversary for everyone's favorite bear-bird combo by releasing a Banjo-Kazooie-themed in-game item for Sea of Thieves.

Also releasing with the new item are some updates to the game in a new patch. These include cannonballs rocking boats upon impact, a PC exit-to-desktop function from the front end, a reduction of clutter in clothing shops, and an updated spawn timer for the Megalodon.

The new Banjo-Kazooie-themed item is a figurehead of a bear with a bird shield, and the brown wood carving will cost players 1,998 gold. Being a limited-time item, players for Sea of Thieves should be quick to purchase the new figurehead as it will only be available during July. All you need to do is collect 1,998 gold, go to any outpost and find a Shipwright in the game.

Sea of Thieves is available for Windows 10 and Xbox One. Want to know more of the new improvements made with the recent patch?
