Day-One patches, an update pushed out on the game's release, are pretty common nowadays. Almost every single game, if not every one, has them, and while it can be an annoyance, it is incredibly useful to developers. Sea of Thieves developer Rare, however, decided to have a little fun with this common occurrence in the form of a new in-game item, and it's hilarious. The item, which can be viewed in the tweet from Rare below, is an eyepatch, appropriately titled the "Day 1 Eye-Patch." This new item can be purchased for just one piece of gold, further emphasizing the joke. While it is a great price for a joke item, players do have a limited time to grab it, as it will only be available until next week, March 29, 2018.Access to Sea of Thieves is starting to roll out right now, depending on where you live of course.
