Nordic Games and Mind Over Matter Studios have just announced new content coming to their strategy RPG SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny, with three episodic DLC packages and a Season Pass option, plus a brand new patch to boot.

Each of the DLC will be set in the past of Faith in Destiny, giving players the reins of a previous non-playable character from the original story. Each of the DLC will also be priced at about $4, but the Season Pass will give players a deal at $10 for the whole set.

The first of the DLC was released today, called Flink’s Secret Diary, exploring the comedic story of thief Flink McWinter, who’s been tasked to recover Order Master Matricus’s stole Fire Ledger. The DLC puts Flink into a world of orcs, barbarians and thieves, while also introducing players to Flink’s mom. The content adds about four hours of additional gameplay. The other DLC will drop on January 18th, 2013 and February 15th, 2013 respectively.

The patch (v.226), introduced Coop and Free Game Mode for multiplayer, some visual upgrades, and new gameplay mechanics. For a full list, you can view the Patch here.
