Second Annual SXSW Gaming Awards Winners Revealed, Dragon Age: Inquisition Takes Top Prize as Game of the Year

Though most organizations and award groups have wrapped up their nominations and cleaned up with 2014, a few outlets and organizations are still taking their time to look back and award the best achievements of gaming in 2014, with this past weekend’s SXSW Festival hosting their annual Gaming Awards to honor the best games of 2014.

Following the festival this past weekend, the full list of winners from the SXSW Gaming Awards’ second annual awards ceremony has been revealed with a number of the year’s most acclaimed and best-selling titles cracking into the list, including top prizes for Dragon Age: Inquisition taking the title of Game of the Year, while Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor took the most awards of the night with three wins in Excellence in Gameplay, Animation, and Design and Direction.
