Today Square Enix released a batch of new images of the upcoming Secret of Mana remake, and we get to see the first glimpse on something rather interesting.

The artwork features many of the characters and villains that will make a comeback in the remake, including Jema, Luka, Dyluck, Vandole, Thanatos, Sheex, Fanha, and Gesthar.

Perhaps more interesting is the screenshots, which is still linked to the characters. It shows the “intermission episodes” that have been added to the original game, showing moments in which the hero engages with the rest of the cast, including casual conversation and other kinds of interaction.

You can see all the assets in the gallery below, and if you want to see more, you can check out some gameplay from yesterday at Tokyo Game Show, more screenshots, and the first gameplay from PAX West.

Secret of Mana will will launch worldwide on February 15th, 2018, for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC via Steam.
