Sega Announces Launch Date for Aliens: Colonial Marines

Sega in conjunction with Gearbox Software and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products have announced the release for the first-person shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines on February 12, 2013. The game will be a part of the canon of the Aliens franchise.

Aliens: Colonial Marines introduces a twist to multiplayer matches allowing marines to play in first person view while players controlling the Xenomorphs will be in third person view. Beginning on an abandoned ship, players will lead a group of trained marines on the deserted craft to discover the fate of the crew. The game will take players to many environments that are from the iconic film franchise.

To go along with the announcement of this release, Sega has also released a new trailer showing off the game.

Check out Aliens: Colonial Marines on February 12, 2013 when it is released on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC with a release date for the Wii U to be revealed at a later date.
