on September 9, 2013 7:30 AM

During the Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia Press Conference, legendary Phantasy Star Producer Satoshi Sakai walked on stage, and after apologizing for the recent disastrous patch that erased critical files from the computers of many Phantasy Star Online 2 users, he announced Phantasy Star Nova.

The game is being developed by tri-Ace and will come exclusively to PlayStation Vita in 2014. The setting will be the same as Phantasy Star Online 2, but it won’t be a MMORPG. Players will be able to enjoy it either in single player or co-op with three other players.
