SEGA Bringing Aliens to the Handheld With Aliens: Infestation

on July 21, 2011 10:00 AM

Yesterday SEGA announced a new game in the Aliens movie franchise titled Aliens: Infestation for the Nintendo DS. It looks to be a side-scrolling action game set in many familiar areas and settings of the Aliens universe, and at first glance, it doesn’t exactly incite much hype. So why am I seriously excited for this one?

Well, it’s being developed by WayForward, in collaboration with Gearbox. WayForward is one of, if not the most, consistent developers out there today, especially when it comes to 2D action games bursting with charm and passion, so I can’t help but feel like this game will undoubtedly be excellent. Look for it when it arrived in stores in September of this year.
