It's finally launch week for the long-awaited action game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and FromSoftware and Activision have today revealed a multitude of new details on the title prior to release.

In a new video that was released this morning, over five minutes of new footage of Sekiro was shown off. This video was segmented into multiple different parts focusing on the many aspects of Sekiro. First off, the trailer touches on the narrative of the game and explains the location, main conflict, and also touches on how the main character of Sekiro ends up with his prosthetic arm. I won't explain this information in case you're saving yourself from spoilers until release, but this video does touch on how Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice opens.

The later sections of this video then all focus on matters more related directly to gameplay. From touching on the ins and outs of combat and how Sekiro's blocking and parry system work to going over in further detail the many enemies you'll be facing, this video contains a lot of core information that you may not have seen already. Plus, the end of the video also focuses on the game's progression system, which is very different from FromSoftware's previous Souls-like titles. If you're not all that familiar with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice or you're just looking to watch a whole lot of new gameplay footage, this new video is perfect for you.

Below you can watch the video in question for yourself. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at long last is scheduled to release later this week on Friday, March 22 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. To hold yourself over until release, you can also watch Sekiro's launch trailer right here.
