Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice PC Mod Introduces Playable Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2

Fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 can now play as Arthur Morgan in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice providing they're on PC.

The announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 heading to PC saw a large deal of excitement over the social media airwaves. While Red Dead Redemption 2 launches next month, PC players can experience playing as Arthur Morgan earlier, but through Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

This character addition isn’t an official introduction to FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice, but instead is part of a mod created by “Eyedeability”. Originally launched back in June, the mod titled “Ultimate Character Collection” introduces a large range of characters outside of the Sekiro universe that replace the game’s original character with a new model.

Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t the only new addition to the Ultimate Character Collection, as Ichigo from Jump Force has also been uploaded this month. Other characters included in the mod are Scorpion from Mortal Kombat 10, Geralt from The Witcher 3, 2B from Nier: Automata, Darth Maul from Star Wars, and many more. We had previously reported on another mod that was available for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice which introduces a different 2B character model.

There are also optional files that change the weapon skins, for example you can change the usual weapons to Darth Maul’s twinblade lightsaber, or Gwyn’s blazing sword from Dark Souls.

For those who download and install the Arthur Morgan character model will also find a katana replacement for the Mortal Blade and an axe replacement for the Kusabimaru being introduced. The files available for download can be found here with the instructions for installing the mod being found here towards the bottom of the page. Of course, it’s worth noting that mods are only available for those with the PC version of the game.

While a cool mod, it’s a shame that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice doesn’t have a photo mode option. Of course, if you’re going to mod your PC version of the game then you can grab an unofficial photo mode tool. That way you can not only play as Arthur Morgan in a different game, but you can take pretty pictures of the gentleman, or even a video as we’ve seen previously.

Sekiro: Shadows Diw Twice managed to sell 2 million copies in less than ten days. More recently, as of August this year the game has sold 3.8 million copies. It is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
