Activision and FromSoftware have today announced the launch date for the upcoming release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

It was revealed that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will launch on March 22, 2019,. This is in line with the game's previously announced window of early 2019.

In addition, it was also revealed that those who are in attendance at Gamescom this week will get the opportunity to go hands-on with Sekiro for the first time. Even though I was able to check out the game for myself at E3, I wasn't able to actually play it, so consider me jealous.

Lastly, a new Collector's Edition of Sekiro was also revealed today to coincide with the release date announcement. Along with including the base game, this edition will retail include the following:

  • 7” Shinobi Statue

  •  SteelBook

  • Collectible Artbook

  • Map

  • Digital Soundtrack

  • Replica Game Coins

Pre-orders for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice should also go live on retail sites soon, so be sure to keep an eye out if you want to lock in your copy of the game or the Collector's Edition. As mentioned, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will launch on March 22 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Time to start getting excited.
