Marvelous’ Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal has been released a while ago in Japan, but the publisher decided to give gamers a chance to try it out.

Today they launched a new demo on the Japanese PlayStation Store, and despite the language barrier, it’s still a great way to check the game out before it launches on PS4 and PC in the west this fall.

The demo can be downloaded here, at the price of 2.17 gigabytes of your bandwidth. Do keep in mind that you’ll need a Japanese PSN account. In case you don’t have one, you can find out how to create it in our handy guide.

Alongside the demo, Marvelous also released a PS4 theme, but to get that one you’ll need to payb¬†324 yen. You can check out a couple of pictures in the gallery below.

If you’d rather have a couple of themes for free, you can find them here, and you can also check out quite a lot of gameplay.
