Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash Producer Explains Why it’s PS4 Exclusive; Would Like a Steam Release

on October 5, 2016 8:38 PM

The newly revealed Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is the first Senran Kagura game developed exclusively for PS4, and Producer Kenichiro Takaki told DualShockers the reasons behind that choice during a recent chat.

Takaki-san explained that the graphics are going to be way better (than in the previous games), and he’s planning to include PlayStation VR features. He also mentioned that PS4 is his favorite platform to work with: not only he likes the console, but since the visual level is high, it allows the display of the girls’ cuteness in greater detail.

That said, Takaki-san revealed that he’d also like to release the game on Steam at some point in the future.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash will release in Japan on March 16th, 2017. Of course, Takaki-san told us a lot more about the game and his views on the Senran Kagura series, so stay tuned for the full interview very soon on DualShockers.
